Finding beauty in the ordinary

I studied Fine Art at university in London and later in Cornwall, England, specializing in oil painting. My work has long been inspired by the beauty of the natural world and, in more recent years, by a deepening sense of mystery, stillness, and holiness found within the simple and the ordinary. At the heart of my practice is the verse, “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).

I went on to study Iconography in Gaming, Austria, under the guidance of Byzantine priest–iconographers Fr Ianot Gotia and Fr Tomas Labanic. I now offer private tuition in Iconography.
